La Casa de Sofia Carmelina

A high priority on Mama Jane’s wish list was to renovate the younger girls dormitory. It was in poor condition with broken beds, worn linens and very little storage. With a gift from Lucy & Deiter Steck in memory of Lucy’s mother, Sofia, Scott’s Legacy did a complete renovation of the dorm rooms for the younger girls. After painting, new beds, dressers and bed linens, we dedicated La Casa de Sofia Carmelina, in memory of Sofia. We are sure she is smiling down from heaven knowing that the girls at Mama Jane’s have a safe and beautiful place to sleep.  Ndoto Tamu (Sweet Dreams)
