KEVIN E. MYERS FAMILY FOUNDATION - Kevin Myers has been an amazing partner to Scott’s Legacy.  His support has helped us continue our work and initiate new programs.  Without his kindness, the children of Flamboyant Special School would not have a beautiful bus to bring them to school.   His offer to match funds for the life-saving water project at Makao Mapya Village and NASA Nursery School made the project a reality. We are so grateful for you.

CONSTANCE & BROOKS ROBINSON CHARITABLE FOUNDATION - We are thankful that Brooks Robinson’s children, Brooks, Chris, Michael and Diana are supporting Scott’s Legacy through their family’s charitable foundation. In 2024, their grant was instrumental in providing high school and college tuition for 11 children from Mama Jane’s. In addition, they provided financial support to the food program at Flamboyant Special School as well as other needs.

JOHN “BOOG” POWELL - When Boog’s daughter Jennifer passed away unexpectedly, we knew we wanted to honor her kindness and her love of children. Boog funded Jenn Lake at Flamboyant Special School. The self-sustaining fish pond was built in 2023 and dedicated during our trip with a fishing competition. Fishing was a big part of Boog and Jennifer’s life. This pond now provides fish for the children to eat as well as sell at market to generate funds to help operate the school.

MARK BUTLER - Special thanks to the late Mark Butler and the Mark L. Butler Foundation for providing the initial funding to start our organization. Mark’s guidance and commitment to Scott's Legacy was empowering. Sadly and unexpectedly on December 1, 2019, Mark passed away and we dearly miss him. He has left an unfillable void, having given us much inspiration to begin. We have honored him with Butler’s Bunkhouse for Boys and Butler’s Bunkhouse for Girls at Mama Jane’s Orphanage. He was immensely proud of this project and expressed his joy as we donated mattresses, sheets and bedding, in honor of his birthday. Mark, another of our angels … we are eternally grateful to you.

SISTER PAUL - Our dear friend and Irish nun has provided immeasurable support through her words of encouragement and daily prayers. Sister Paul was a special influence in Scott's life and is now such a wonderful part of this foundation. Another Irish friend, Sister Claudia, introduced us to the children at Flamboyant Special School in Mazabuka, Zambia. We were so grateful to travel there in 2023 and dedicate a bus in her honor.

Scott Willis Legacy Foundation was granted 501(c)(3) charitable foundation status May 30, 2018.
Donations are tax deductible and 100% of money raised goes directly
to support orphaned and vulnerable children.
